Hello, Sinners!
We're due for an update, and what better way to make good on it than by showing off some of the fantastic colors coming in from Carlos Moreno and Antonio Baldari. After some delays out Carlos' control, Antonio stepped in to help, and the synergy with these two is just perfect. I can't wait for you all to see the final product.
We are running a bit late with this campaign, but as you can see everything is coming together, and we'll keep you posted as everything is sent to the printer. The lettering is done, in the final correction stages, and then it's off to our production guru Kit Caoagas. We just want this kick-off to Mercy Sparx's first ever spin-off to be perfect.
Thanks again for all of your support. I've personally had a lot to deal with that came up during this project, including an office move and two, count 'em TWO new projects! But I appear to have left everything in great hands, because what Pat, Anna, Carlos & Antonio, and letter Shawn have assembled is something special.
It's fresh, it's dark, it's fun, and just the right amount of f'ed up!

Hello My Heretic Friends!
We hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of Spring, not the least of which is that time change and the end of 5:00 sunsets!
Issue Zero!
While the current campaign of Mercy Sparx: The Big Cover-Up nears the end, our crew is working on wrapping up the debut issue of Club Nephilim. But what about future issues of this scandalous series? Writer and co-conspirator Pat Shand and I have agreed that this debut edition is officially going to be ISSUE ZERO, setting the stage for a string of issues to come. And in fact, Pat is delivering the next script soon!
The way this issue cleared the chess board of some old characters, and established the whole new dynamic of the club, it just felt right. Pat and I talked about it, and "issue zero" was the right fit, as this issue sets the stage for a whole new Club Nephilim enterprise within the Mercy Sparx story.
Comic Shops
We wanted to make sure that comic book shops were able to get their hands on copies of Club Neph, but to ensure that our Kickstarter backers were still receiving the most exclusive, special items. It's been decided that this June, four covers will be available to stores everywhere, but with a slightly lower tier cover stock. The plan is for these editions will be what they call "self-cover" which is where the cover exteriors are the same stock as the interior pages (and how most monthly comics are produced these days).
I don't expect many of our Kickstarter community to be chasing these, as you'll have the upscaled versions, but if you are, we'll make them available and provide an exclusive discount code for you to get them from our website when the time comes.

Hi Everyone!
This is to let yo know that we plan to be send out surveys for your reward details this Thursday, March 14! (Friday at the latest). So get ready! We’re using our standard survey system, BackerKit, but if you’re new to it and need any help just let us know when you receive the survey email.
A small minority of you have already received the surveys! You are part of what’s called our “smoke test”, to make sure everything is in working order. Feel free to go right ahead and complete your surveys. If you experience any problems at all please let us know.
Another update will go out once BackerKit surveys are open to everyone with a concrete timeline of when surveys will be locked down and when cards will be charged.
